Your privacy is important to us and we at SuperPWA are committed to your and our privacy.
We are the folks who created Super Progressive Web Apps (shortened as SuperPWA), the progressive web apps plugin for WordPress.
Our intention is to provide you with the tools and services that will help you create an awesome PWA that you and your users will enjoy.
This is our privacy policy where we detail the data we collect and why we collect them and how it is used.
The information we collect falls under two major categories. The information we collect automatically and the information you provide us.
This information is used to improve our products and services or to contact you directly about them. We collect the bare minimum of what we need and we aim to be 100% transparent about it.
Most modern web browsers share some information with the webservers so that the right content can be served to you.
For example, your browser will “tell” the server whether you are browsing from a desktop or a mobile device and the webserver will use this information to display the desktop website or the mobile website accordingly.
This information including your browser type, IP address, language preference, time and date of access, operating system and the like is logged on the server in a protected log file hidden from the outside world.
SuperPWA.com also uses analytics tools such as Google Analytics (privacy policy), Hotjar (privacy policy) and Facebook Pixel (privacy policy) to understand how users interact and use our website.
This information along with anonymous log information is stored in your browser as cookies and will be transmitted to the respective vendors and used to create aggregate data for statistical analysis.
This anonymous aggregate data is used to improve our products and services.
None of the information collected will be used either directly or indirectly (through third party vendors) to track or collect personally identifiable information or pick out individual computers or users.
The only personally identifiable information we will have is the one you provide us voluntarily.
Most modern browsers will let you disable cookies and enable tracking protection and we will always respect these preferences and pick third party vendors that do the same.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on and from Hotjar using the Opt-out page. You can adjust the Facebook ad preferences here.
We ask for your email which we use to send out our newsletter or contact you about the products and services of SuperPWA.
Your email will only be used for this purpose and will not be shared with a third party.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter any time you like from the unsubscribe link in every email that we send out or by contacting us directly.
We ask for your name and email when you leave a comment on one of the articles on SuperPWA.com.
We might contact you directly on this email to answer to your comment if we think that the matter is better if discussed privately. We will never send newsletters or unsolicited emails to your email.
We use a third party service named Akismet (privacy policy) that automatically checks your comment for spam.
We also use a third party service named Gravatar (privacy policy) to retrieve your avatar which is displayed alongside your comment.
We will ask you for basic information when you create an account on SuperPWA.com. This will include your username and email address and other basic information as necessary.
Passwords that you provide or the ones automatically generated are not stored anywhere. These passwords are encrypted using industry standard one-way encryption and cannot be read even during a data breach.
This information will be used for the sole purpose of making and maintaining your account and will not be distributed to anyone for any purpose.
When you buy something from us, we might receive the transaction information from the third party payment processor. We use PayPal (privacy policy) to handle the transaction and your data is kept private as per their privacy policy.
Should you wish to have your data deleted from our system, please let us know and we will gladly do so.
We might have to retain some data for tax and legal purposes, the details of which will be communicated to your privately.
We take security of our website very seriously and have implemented industry standard security measures in place to protect against the loss and misuse of data.
In the event of a security breach, we will inform you about the incident and the action plan we have in place to restore the website and steps to prevent such an event in the future.
If you have any questions about our privacy policy or in general, please contact us and we will get back to you within a reasonable time frame.
